The influence of 80’s and early 90’s music is still going strong. But the first wave of synthwave artists has declined in quality thanks to its repetitiveness of, not so much copying the music of artists from the 80’s, but more the copying the aesthetics of modern artists sucha as Perturbator or Carpenter Brut. Luckily there are still artists who look for something fresh in nostalgia. Artists like Network Nick who’s music has as much in common with retro-electronic music as Iron Maiden to the Fugees.

Label Iskra

Iskra is made up of four people, whose paths crossed many years ago because of their work connected with alternative music in the broadest sense. We organized concerts, we designed graphics for concerts, we wrote journalism, we performed onstage. Each one of us is different, and each one of us brings special knowledge and skills to the team. Out of a combination of those came Iskra Cassettes - an extraordinary label that concentrates exclusively on releasing awesome music on cassette tapes.
